Is the villa suitable for family vacations?
Yes, Il Polpo Nero is designed for families. With spacious communal areas, dining spaces for large groups, and private bathrooms for each bedroom, it perfectly balances shared moments and personal comfort. The villa is stocked with books, board games, musical instruments, and all the amenities needed for a memorable family stay.
Are children welcome at the villa?
Absolutely. The villa features a dormitory that children love, as well as board games, making it a family-friendly choice. However, due to the natural layout of the garden (stone pathways, semi-wild areas) and the non-heated pool, little ones must be supervised at all times.
Is the villa suitable for small events or celebrations?
Yes, the villa’s outdoor spaces, including a shaded pergola and sea-view terrace, are perfect for intimate gatherings. You can arrange a private chef to create a custom menu ranging from traditional Sardinian dishes to a gourmet experience. Contact us to plan your special occasion.

Yes, the villa is equipped with modern reversible air conditioning systems in every room, ensuring cool summers and cozy winters. A decorative fireplace adds charm to the living room by bearing our dear Polpo Nero, but is not functional.
Is the swimming pool at the villa heated?
No, the pool is not heated. Sardinia’s sunny climate ensures it remains swim-ready from spring through autumn, and at its peak during summer.
Does the villa have a barbecue or a plancha?
To prioritize safety in Sardinia’s dry climate, the villa does not feature a barbecue. However, a large, high-performance plancha is available for outdoor dining under the stars.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, Il Polpo Nero provides bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels, allowing you to pack light.
Does the rental price include cleaning services?
Unless otherwise specified, cleaning services are included in our rental price. Additional or daily cleaning can be arranged, depending on the season and length of your visit.
Does the villa have Wi-Fi?
Yes, the villa is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi for both work and leisure.
Is there a TV?
No, Il Polpo Nero does not feature a traditional television. Instead, the villa is equipped with an easy-to-use video projector system. Guests can access Chromecast to stream their favorite content, including Netflix and Disney+, offering a cinematic experience in the comfort of the villa.
Are baby amenities available?
A baby cot, high chair, and other essentials can be provided upon request. Please inform us in advance.

How far is the villa from the nearest airport?
We recommend flying into Cagliari Airport, which offers year-round international flights and a scenic 35-minute drive to the villa. Alternatively, Olbia Airport is about 3 hours away for those exploring northern Sardinia.
Do I need a car to stay at the villa?
Yes, renting a car is highly recommended to explore Sardinia’s diverse landscapes, beaches, and villages. However, we can also arrange airport-to-villa transfers with a private driver.
Are there shops and supermarkets nearby?
Yes, the nearby village of Pula offers supermarkets, local shops, and traditional delicacies like handmade ravioli and artisanal gelato. We share our favorite addresses with our guests.
What are the best nearby beaches to visit?

Practical Information
What is the minimum stay requirement at the villa?
The minimum stay is 5 nights year-round. During peak season, the villa requires a 7-night stay, from Saturday to Saturday.
What is included in the rental price?
As we tailor each offer to our guests, please contact us for details.
What is the cancellation policy?
Unless specified otherwise, we follow a non-refundable policy. To confirm your booking, a 25% deposit will be required, followed by 25% six months before your stay and 50% two months before arrival. A refundable security deposit is also held and returned within 15 days after departure, pending no damages.
Do you offer late check-in or early check-out options?
If there are no overlapping bookings, we are always happy to arrange early check-ins or late check-outs, free of charge.
Is there parking available at the villa?
The villa offers one private parking space inside the gated property, and additional street parking nearby. Parking in this area is free, with ample space for up to two more cars near the entrance, in harmony with the neighbors.
Is the villa accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, the villa is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs, multi-level layouts, and uneven terrain.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at the villa, to ensure the safety of the property and guests, as the garden is not fenced
